The New Jersey Healthy Kids Initiative (NJHKI)

The New Jersey Healthy Kids Initiative (NJHKI) comprises a multi-disciplinary team of education and child health experts passionate about research, health, and outreach. Its work is grounded in community participatory research, and at the heart of its mission is partnership and service with families, youth, and communities. Since its inception in 2018, its small team has greatly impacted the university and its surrounding communities. NJHKI’s research prioritizes supporting and enhancing community capacity, strengthening collaborative approaches to problem-solving, and offering services that will directly benefit its participants.  Learn more about us.
